It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esly Alvarez of Brampton, Ontario, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramiro Alvarez and Marta Noemi Pereira; and his siblings, Dora Dennis Ramos and Walter Ramiro Alvarez. He is survived by: his wife Gardenia Zara Garcia; his son Michael Isaac; and his siblings, Mirna Elizabeth Barreto (Jesse), Adonias Eli Alvarez (Claudia), Edith Quizé Hernandez (Mauricio), Cheril Noemi Vasquez (Byron) and Flory Beth Neiva (Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kennedy Road Church (141 Kennedy Rd N, Brampton, ON L6V1X9).
