He was predeceased by: his parents, Michele Lotto and Matilda Lotto; and his siblings, Sarah Catania (late Sam), Chris Lotto (Velma), Lenny Lotto (late Rosina) and Frank Lotta (late Rose).

He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Terry" Lotto; his children, Margaret Anne Firlotte (Jaime) and Laurie Essam (Doug); his grandchildren, Alana and Brendan Firlotte; his brother-in-law Grant Watt (Irene); and his pets, Jake and Luna. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
