It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verna Jean Stovold (Bradford, Ontario), who passed away on January 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Verna Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Verna Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Eric Stovold; and her children, Christopher (Louise), Jean Lemire (Albert), Jeffrey (Cathy), Amy Raposo (Tony) and Charlotte Ferguson (Scott). She was also cherished by her 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In Verna's memory, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.
