She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Rice; and her siblings, Herbert Heaton, Alan Heaton and Mildred Stone. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Preston (Barbara), Philip Preston (Janice), Clive Preston (Anne) and Johanna Wells (Terry Arnett); and her stepdaughter Carol Sisson (Donald). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In Ruth's memory, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or The Ronald MacDonald House.
