He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathy; his parents, Christine Nebel and Hans Nebel; his children, Jonathan (Tiffany), Laura (Luke) and Sarah (Kristján); and his siblings, Heidi (Geoff) and Gerry (Patti).

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #521, 115 Back St., Bradford on Saturday January 11, 2020 from 12.30 to 3.30 p.m. We wish to thank the amazing staff at Matthew's House Hospice Alliston and ask for donations to support this wonderful place.

“Dear cathy & family; we were so very sorry to hear of roberts passing..how totally terrible for you all; i'm so sorry that you've not heard from me, however when i'm home you don't seem to be; george is also very ill and i've been travelling to southlake daily ; and he was 'not good thru' christmas.; however cathy , i have been thinking of you so much, wishing i could help you ( just so you know dear neighbour; ) you all are in our thoughts; . My heart hurts for your hearts ; we care!”
