He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene (Gare); his siblings, Nellie Rogers (late Ernie), Bud (late Laura), Harvey (late Violet), Winnie Foster (late Bill), Pat Hollingshead (late George), Ken (late Bev) and Jean Stickwood (late Allan); and his siblings-in-law, Gord Gare, Ken Gare (late Glenna) and Joan Crowe (late Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Dalton (Anne), Marie Hutchinson (Randy), Sandra, Harry (Virginia), Karen Pillon (Michael) and Michelle Benton (Dave); and his brother-in-law Don Gare (late Lynn). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
In Mike's memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket.
