In the sacred silence of farewell, Marjorie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marjorie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Maclean (Jerry), Ann Spalding (Wayne), Karen Smith (John), Patricia King and Linda (Jimmy); and her husband Jimmy. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She volunteered for over 30 years until COVID and her body bade her to stop, although the thoughts of her kids and their families were never far from her mind.
Just as Marjorie turned Linda and Jimmy's loss into purpose, the family asks that readers continue this legacy by donating to the cause that meant so much to her, the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) clinic at Southlake Regional Health Centre in lieu of flowers.
