He was predeceased by: his mother Chantal. He is survived by: his significant other Lucille; his children, Patricia (Andrew) and Miguel; his stepsons, Nathan and Mitchell (Nadine); his father Hubert; his siblings, Lynne and Mathieu (Line); his nieces and nephews, Mika (Justin), Brianne (Danny), Tyler, Karine, Zoé and Kaleb; his great-nephew Sylas; his mother-in-law Vivianne (late Gaston); his siblings-in-law, Norman (Linda) and Joanne (Glenn); his nieces and nephews, Daniel (Kaytlan), Michael (Ashley), Kyla (Daniel) and Nathalie; his great-niece Audrey; his great-nephews, Emersyn, James and Jude; and the mother of his children Renelle (Brian). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Laurier's memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
