He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his sons, Jonathan (Kristin), David (Joy) and Benjamin Van Hemert; his stepchildren, Marcia O'Hearn (Richard), Jodi Saville (Jay) and Mark Hoving (Jamie); his grandchildren, Kaileigh, Abigail Van Hemert, Noah, Levi, Ally Van Hemert, Lauren, Jack O'Hearn, Liam, Brady Saville, Thomas, Andrew and William Hoving; and his siblings, Harry Van Hemert (Ginny), Alex Van Hemert (Rin), Sara Van Luyk (late Adrian), Irene Vander Steen (John), Nellie Van Dyke (Hugh) and Audrey Schenk (John). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
