She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Martinus Vandenheuvel (Martin); her children, Corry Howe (Don), Janna Ness Hopcraft (Ted), Marjanna Palmer (late Bill) and Stephanie D'Ambrosio; her siblings, Bill (Nel) and Cynthia Scout (late Joseph); and her siblings-in-law, Steefje Verhoeff and Ita Koot. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In Janna's memory, donations may be made to Heritage Reformed Church, Newmarket.
