He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wynda, Doug (Wanda), Joanne, Marvin and Paul (Charlene); his father-in-law Peter Jermolow; and his parents, Jacob Verkaik and Anne Verkaik.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Vandersar (Jason), Yvette Hawkins (Paul), Sue-Ann Lavigne (Stephane) and Melanie Kwantes (Matt); his grandchildren, Holly, Luke Vandersar, Skyler, Tanner Hawkins, Julie, Alex Lavigne, Hudson and Olivia Kwantes; his siblings-in-law, Victor Jermolow (Gail), Zoey Chmiel (late Joe) and Irene Pahor (Nick); and his mother-in-law Maria. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Presbyterian Church (2940 10 Sideroad, Bradford, ON L3Z2A4).
In memory of Jack, donations may be made to either King Christian School or to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
