She was predeceased by: her spouse Frank Gerrits; her child Gregory; and her siblings, Donald Novak and Rosie Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Sulima (Frank) and Tammy Zanlorenzi (Dominic); her grandchildren, Andrew Zanlorenzi, Jacqueline Cesario (Michael), Brian Sulima and Michael Sulima; and her sibling Andrew Novak (Diana).
