He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; and his brother John Hoving (Catherine). He is survived by: his children, Marcia O'Hearn (Richard), Jodi Saville (Jason), Mark Hoving (Jamie) and Kim Hose (Ralph); his grandchildren, Lauren, Jack, Liam, Brady, Thomas, Ally, Andrew and William; and his siblings, Susanne Visser (Sam), Bas Hoving (Diane), George Hoving (Joanne), Bill Hoving (Grace), Jane Jansma (late Harry), Liz Allen (Michael) and Mike Hoving (Tammy). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In Harry's memory, donations may be made to Renascent Addiction Treatment Centre, Toronto.
