With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elsie Marie Giffen (Bradford, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Elvin Fleming and Don Giffen; her son John; her close friend Gordon Giffen; and her siblings, Patricia, Clarin, Cordie and Lachlan.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Sharko (Andrew); her grandchildren, Kyle (Damara), Robert (Jennifer), Brian (Nicole), Andrea (Adam) and Erin; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Jocelyn, Megan, Payton, Breya, Alicia, Aaron, Dalya, Jaxson and Gage.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at the Minesing Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and in Elsie's memory, donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
