He was predeceased by: his sister Greta (late Juli). He is survived by: his spouse Jerca; his children, Sanda Cestaric (Joe) and Heidi Mora (Imre); his grandsons, Brandon (Vesna), Aaron (Sarah), Andrew (Courtney), Benjamin and Caleb; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Everly and Cooper; and his siblings, Johana and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
