He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Maria Lameirinhas; his children, Paula Currie (Jason) and Joaquim Lamineirinhas (Kirsten Mullin); and his siblings, Virginia, Francisco, Manuel, Conceicao and Antonio. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
