It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Allen Hamblin of Bracebridge, Ontario, born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty (Smith); his parents, Francis and Velma (Matchett); his brothers, James Hamblin (Carol) and Albert Hamblin (Shelagh); his siblings-in-law, Larry Smith, Donald Smith, Doug Smith, Barb Shire and June Smith; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Irene Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy (Chris) and Brian (Hillary); his grandchildren, Kellie McHugh, April McHugh and Alexander Hamblin; his stepson Mark Kerswill (Crystal); his stepgranddaughter Kayley; his sister Anne Quinton (Howard); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Smith, Gail Smith, Max Shire, Howard Smith (Kathy), Harold Smith (Sue) and Lloyd Smith. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friend.
