He was predeceased by: his sister Yvonne; and his parents, Cecilia Arthur and Cecil Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughters, Séanne (Tony Van Sluytman) and Susan Arthur-Schott (Stephan Schott); his grandchildren, Travis Van Sluytman, Steven Van Sluytman (Samantha Ellis), Sophie Schott and Hannah Schott; and his daughters, Montreal and Alcan.
Wes volunteered as treasurer for the local Heart and Stroke Foundation for several years. If desired, memorial donations in Welesley's name can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
