He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Gilbert; his parents, Wilbur Gilbert and Jean Gilbert Morrison; and his brother Bruce Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Cari Gilbert (Don), Tanya Gilbert (Ken), John Clouter (Pepper) and Connie Taylor (Mike); and his grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Jordon Scott, Mackenzie Larsen, Sarah Larsen, Bray Clouter, Haley Taylor, Erica Taylor, Honorary and Devan Newell.
