He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Bennett. He is survived by: his former wife Collette Mortensen; his daughters, Cathy Trueman (Tom), Debbie Crowder (Jeff) and Michelle Ellis (Mike); his stepdaughters, Sandy Downey (Wray) and Wendy Knudson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Bobby), Jordana (Oren), Sarah (Roey), Bree, Megan, Samantha, Emily and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Eden, Aviya, Lia, Jack and Noa.

In memory of Lawrence, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society and the Bracebridge Seniors' Centre and may be arranged through Reynolds Funeral Home.
