Jamie Scott O'Brien Obituary

Jamie Scott O'Brien, age 47, of Bracebridge, formerly of Cambridge, Ontario passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Nancy Deverieze, father, Paul O'Brien, brother, Marc O'Brien (Leslie), and Susan and Rod Smith. Predeceased by his stepfathers Leo Bygrave, Anthony Deverieze, Nanna and Poppa Skinner, Nanna and Poppa O' Brien, and great grandparents Joe and Ethel Ridge. Jamie was a proud cousin to DJ, Karen, Vivian, Carl, Meggen and Jason and uncle to Chloe, August and Victoria. Years ago when living in Preston, Jamie was playing at the park by himself when he was accused to biting another child. When Nancy was confronted, she just said "boys will be boys". Jamie had a wonderful memory. He was always thinking of others and knew all their birthdays and anniversaries, never forgetting to offer well wishes. He also loved the Cambridge Fall Fair, the Toronto Blue Jays, hockey, and his trip to Disney World as a child with Nana and Poppa. We are very thankful to Nana and Poppa Skinner for helping to raise both Jamie and Marc through our difficult times. Jamie's family will receive friends a the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, on Wednesday, December 7th from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am followed by interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
