He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles Speck and Elsie Speck (Cox); and his brothers, Harold, Charles and Mervin.
He is survived by: his close friend Molly; his wife Betty Josephine (Kirchner); his daughters, Linda Austin (Ivan), Karen Hunter (Shane) and Wendy Horton (Len); his grandchildren, Jenna Domalik (David), Aaron Austin (Crystal), Chrystal Horton (Charles), Melissa Clark (Logan), Donald Austin (Christine) and Matthew Hunter; and his nieces and nephews, Stanley, Noah, Mackenzie, Peyton, Conor, Sofia, Jacob and Lucas.
