He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eleanor and Fred. He is survived by: his wife Ida; his sons, John Konopacki (Wendy) and David Konopacki (Michelle Dawe); his brother Bob; his grandchildren, Meghan (Chris) and Mark; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Laura.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Memory of Bill may be made to the Mount Sinai Hospital (Sarcoma Cancer Center).
