He was predeceased by: his wife Marion Burgess; his daughter Kathy Read; his parents, Arthur Burgess and Vera Burgess; and his siblings, Gwen Baird and Melville Burgess.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynda Crago (Paul), Debbie Snowden (John) and Janice Burgess; his son-in-law Stan Read; his grandchildren, Meghan, Mackenzie, Jennifer, Jessica, Michelle and Trevor; his great grandchildren, Addison, Emma, Olivia, Eleanor, Emerson, Veronique, Klara, Lauren and Charlotte; and his brother Wayne Burgess.
