She is survived by: her children, Glenn and Lorie (Gene Osmond); and her siblings, Glen Irvine (Marg) and Nadine Hauser. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was awarded The Silent Partner Award by the commissioner of the OPP in 2016 for her dedication, loyalty and selfless contributions to support law enforcement in Ontario.
