He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Doris Owen; and his grandson Ken. He is survived by: his children, Kim Kostyshyn (Clark), Robert Owen (Kim) and Melanie Besser (late Frank); his grandchildren, Laura, Mackenzie, Tyler and Myriah; and his brother Garth Owen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
