We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, Ray Gordon VanMeer (Bowmanville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ray Gordon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor VanMeer; his daughter Patti Kingdom (Dan); and his sister Betty McKinnon. He is survived by: his sons, Randy (Donna) and Rick (Karen); his granddaughters, Laura Langstaff (Cory) and Nicole VanMeer; his brother Don VanMeer; and his sister-in-law Joan Haass (Herman).
