He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Penny Vanson; his children, Taylor Dadson (Mike), Brendon Dadson and Tyrone Vanson (Elysha); his granddaughter Willow; his parents, Ted Dadson and Sheila Dadson; his sister Cathy Dadson; and his mother-in-law Carol Nicholl.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital or Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178 Poppy Fund.
