She was predeceased by: her husband Karl Piper; her daughter Sharon Powell; and her siblings, Reg Brock, Ruth McGill and Eleanor VanMeer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Bycok (Paul) and Kathy McMillan (Ken); her grandchildren, Bradley (Jacki), Jamie (Laura), Heather (Shawn), Allison (Tim), Samantha (Kale), Dan (Karen) and Paul (Amy); her sister Joan Haass (Herman); and her siblings-in-law, Ray VanMeer and Shirley VanKuik. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
