He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerardus Hoof and Francisca Van Hoof. He is survived by: his wife Irena Maria; his sons, Edwardo Julian and Christopher Leonardo; and his granddaughter Scarlett Julia. He is also survived by his 14 siblings, as well as dozens of extended family members and many friends.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Table Food Bank in Huntsville or the Salvation Army Food Bank – Huntsville in Joseph's memory.
