It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Soloman Tobias (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Billy Hazelwood; and his parents, Louis Tobias and Margaret Tobias. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Mike Tobias and Cheryl Tobias-Hayes; his grandchildren, Alex Hazelwood (Jessica), Leo Tobias, Rebekka Sandercock, Kristina MacDonald, Melissa MacDonald, Tonya Hayes (Matt), Daniel Hayes and Shauna Hayes (TJ); his great grandchildren, Markus, Meekah, Emmah, Ellie, Tatum, Jayden, Daniel, Jacob, Matthew and Josiah; and his siblings, Gary Tobias (Darlene), Penny Christie (late Clifford) and Malcolm Tobias. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Light Foundation or Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
