He was predeceased by: his children, Ryan Lawson and Paul Dolan; his parents, Marian Mustard and Gordon Mustard; his sister Judi Ashby; and his brother-in-law Stan Ashby.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lawson; his children, Jennifer, David Ferris, Mac and Amy Lawson; his grandchildren, Cooper, Kaelan, Josephine and Griffin Ferris; his siblings, Paul Read (Trish) and Michelle Smyth (Stephen); and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Read-Lyon (Craig), Alysa Kim (Harold), David Ashby (Mara), Megan Luckie (Patrick), Connor and Molly Smyth.
