He was predeceased by: his significant other Thea Teertstra; his daughter Sandra Clark; his granddaughter Veronica; and his siblings, Jeltje Gros-Oegema and Jacob.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne (Bert), Jack (Janet) and Jeff (Debbie); and his siblings, Baukje Vanlingen (Kingston) and Bart (Netherlands).
