He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Pake; his wife Betty; his children, Francine, Mark, Sylvia, Sue and John (Bishop); and his siblings, John, Bill Dykstra, Herman, Henke, Mike, Jenny, Annie, Claude Biersteker, Bob and Pat. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
