He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Haass and Louise Haass; and his brother Walter. He is survived by: his wife Betty Glendinning; his children, John (Petra), Marilyn (George Muizelaar) and Margaret; his grandchildren, Heather Haass (Monty), Dustin Haass, Nick Haass (Caitlyn), Traci Louws (Jeremy), Shaelyn Muizelaar (Nic), Adele and Jesse Muizelaar; and his brothers, Herman and Edward. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
