He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Marian (John) and Mickey; his sibling Jozina; and his spouse Dirkje. He is survived by: his grandchildren, John (Cindy), Margaret (Rob), Susan (Brian), Peter, Debbie (John), Michael (Mary Claire) and Lee-Anne; and his siblings, Pieter (Tina) and Johannes.
