He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grace Hiemstra; his children, Marten, Tina Barrie (Steve), Bill (Sylvia), Alice Bespolko (Dave), Grace Mahoney (Dave) and Gwen; and his siblings, Wilma Brink (Miner) and Gerry Hiemstra (Rita).
