He was predeceased by: his brother Carl; and his children, Dale (Ewart), Darryl (Susan), Lesley (Roy), Jennifer and Meredith (late Rob).

He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his siblings, William (Irene) and Janet; his grandchildren, Michael (Kate), Amanda (Dustin), Andrew, Matthew, Kyle, Grace (Robbie), Brent, McKenna (Cole), Reilly, Avery, Audrey, Kristy (Doug), Derrick and Darryl; his great grandchildren, Kai, Nyla, Zita, Jacob, Payge, Natalie, Carly, Ayla, Chase, Isla and Callan; his nieces and nephews, Barbie and Jimmy Yakura; and also Jacques Nadeau.

Due to Covid protocols a celebration of life (Outdoors) will be held in the warmer weather by invitation only.
