She was predeceased by: her child Cory Gibbs; her siblings, Cecile Muise (Abby), Shirley Sollows and Gerald Leblanc (Hilda); and her parents, Mary Alice Leblanc (Dulain) and Laurent Alfred Leblanc.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Barchard, Kirby Crosby (Christine Thompson) and Susan Gibbs; her granddaughters, Erika Mask (Graham), Hailee Barchard (Kyle), Jillian Thompson (Jared), Melissa Brustmann and Melissa Scott (Jeff); her son-in-law Jim Barchard; her niece Sheila Sollows (Bernie); her great-niece Kaytlyn Sollows; and her sister Joan Adams (Fred). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
