Cornelis Mostert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelis Mostert (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Cornelis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cornelis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Maria, Arend, Eliza, Minnie, Martin and Dick.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Jessica Sherwin (Walter) and Arnold Mostert (Joanne); and his grandson Joshua Mostert.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church (2805 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Bowmanville, ON L1C6E9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cor's memory to the Glen Hill Gardens home, Bowmanville, which is currently under construction, or to another charity of your choice.
