She was predeceased by: her significant other Lawrence Strong (Larry); and her parents, Joe Point and Marg Point. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hooey (Todd), Brian Strong and Kim (Rob); her siblings, Leona (Marcel), Moe (Ann), Lorraine (Gerald) and Gerry (late Elaine); and her mother-in-law Marion.
