She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Albert Smith and Eleanor Ida Smith; her former husband Jack Lewis Pinch; her son John "Jack" Richard Pinch; and her sisters, Pamela Smith and Marian Fata.

She is survived by: her children, Susan, Lori Pinch and Dwayne Williams; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacqueline, Liam, Rebecca, Richard, Jorden and Christina; her great grandchildren, Emily and Nathan; her siblings, Gord Smith, Penny DeSousa and Len Pinder; and also, Joe Guerrieri, Cassius, German Shepherd, Hoss and Gord. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
