He was predeceased by: his cousin Alex; and his stepbrother Iain McGill (Nette). He is survived by: his wife Josie; his children, Robert McGill and Donna Goncalves (George); his grandchildren, George (Andrea), Maeghan (Kyle), Michael (Janine) and Kate (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Aya, Audrey, Keenan, Leah, Maddie, Alec, JJ and Max; his cousin Mary McGill; his stepbrother George McGill (Anneke); his nieces, Wendy, Karen, Tracey and Laura; and also, Lesley (Don) and Karen (Dave).
