He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Tim, Nick, Betty and Marion.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Dianna Kornic, Kim Kornic and Steve Kornic (Rebeca); his grandchildren, Jorge, Luisa and Christopher; his great grandchild Eliana; and his siblings, Nydia Kicinko and Ken Kornic. He is also survived by nephews, friends.

Memorial Donations may be made in his name to SALT (Saving Animals Lives Together) Rescue Organization to honour Al's love of animals.
