She was predeceased by: her father John Parkins; her father-in-law Donald Thompson; and her stepfather-in-law Bill Lawson. She is survived by: her mother Marjory Parkins (Burrell); her husband Ken Thompson; her children, Stacey (Andrew), Nick (Mel), Ellen (Nikos) and Stephanie (Richard); her grandchildren, Jordan, Eleanor, Walter, Raina, Penny, June, Anna, Nellie, Sawyer, Charlie and Axel; her mother-in-law Pat Lawson; and her siblings, Tom (Wendie), David (late Hazel), Linda (Denis), Bonnie (Mac), Pam (Murray), Patty (late Brian) and Jim (Sandra). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
