She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Verstraete and Adrienne Verstraete (VanBesien); her husband Joseph "Joe" Vereecken; her siblings, Andy Verstraete (late Lena) and Janette Korpan (late Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Nic Vereecken and Theo Vereecken (late Evelyn).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl-Ann Fisher (Bob) of Bothwell, Linda Vereecken (Lee Saker) of Clachan and Catherine Ellwood (late Randy) of Chatham; her granddaughters, Kelsey Ann Lemieux (Cody), Stephanie Fisher and Jocelyn Fisher (Adam Cedar); her great grandchildren, Elodie Rose and Coen Lemieux; and her siblings, Zulma Deprez (Roger) of Dresden, Marie Vereecken (Antoine) of Chatham, Dianne Feys (late Gilbert) of Bothwell, Joanne Bogaert (late Ernest) of London and Pete Vereecken (late Rosa) of Holland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
