He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Storey; and his parents, Roy Storey and Dorothy Storey. He is survived by: his children, Tara Benoot (Jeff) and Ryan Storey; his grandchildren, Kira Benoot, Riley Benoot (Emily) and Haley Benoot; and his siblings, Ann Storey, Greg Storey (Deb), Janet Taylor (late Terry) and Becky Storey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
