She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederich Strass and Lina Strass (Weng); her husband Hubert Kotz; her son Klaus Kotz; and her siblings, Hella, Kurt and Fritz.

She is survived by: her children, Gaby Kotz (Martin) of Etobicoke and Michael Kotz; her grandchildren, Nikita and Kaila; and her great grandchild Dawson.
