She was predeceased by: her parents, Acheil Covemaeker and Emelie Covemaeker (Vanlerberghe); her spouse Jeroom Verhelle; and her siblings, Zoe, Julia, Henry, Maurice, Marcel, Leon, Julian and Andre Covemaeker.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Verhelle (Francine) of Bothwell and Gary Verhelle (Joanne) of Newbury; her grandchildren, Angie Piper, Brian Verhelle (Candice), David Verhelle (Lindsay), Jennifer Wilson (Jeff) and Steven Verhelle (Rebecca); and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Liam, Brayden, Kaylin, Kira, Grace, Alec, Brooke and James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
