He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucia D'Ercole, Michele Plati, Angiolino Venasio and Giuseppe Plati. He is survived by: his wife Helen Therese (Plouffe); his children, Larry Plati (Gina), Teresa D'Agostino (Frank), Donna Hilsenteger (Daniel) and Angela Hay (James); his grandchildren, Vincent Daniel Hilsenteger (Cindy), Adrienne Marie Richards (Mike), Lewis George Hilsenteger (Monica), Armando Joseph De Marco (Isabel), Vincent Alexander Plati (Hillary), Rosellen Freda-Marie D'Agostino (Ashley), David Vincent Hay (Gregory) and Elizabeth Anne Hilsenteger; and his great grandchildren, William, Lincoln, Claire Hilsenteger and Bis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, the birds.

Due to the global pandemic only nine immediate family members will attend Vince's funeral service and interment.
